China Palace in Cape Girardeau

Best Chinese buffet around! Large selection and the food is always fresh. I live 50 miles away so I don't get to enjoy their food often but when I am in Cape eating at Great Wall is a given!

Great food just wish they had a Mongolian grill. Much better than the other Chinese place

Very sad to learn that the Great Wall Chinese Buffett has closed. This was one of our favorite places to eat in Cape Girardeau. Every time we visited, they always had a great variety of items, and usually everything was very fresh. We always looked forward to coming down to Cape, to eat at the Great Wall, as we live in Farmington. The staff was always very nice also. The Best of the Best, was the Chicken and Broccoli, and the Crab Rangoon. Would love to know what happened, and why they closed down.

We eat chinese food all the time and this place never lets us down. The prices are beyond reasonable and the servings are massive. For a family of 5 we usually spend about 35$ and that includes plenty of eggrolls and crab rangoon to go around and is always enough for at least 2 meals. Its always fresh. We enjoy one of the other chinese restaurants in town too but sometimes its not fresh and very disappointing. No matter what time of day we come to the Great Wall, it has always been fresh. Im also impressed by how much meat they put in their dishes. Ive ordered shrimp mei fun and beef and broccoli from the other chinese places around and have been very agitated several times by the lack of protein. I highly recommend this place. Its not gorgeous from the outside but the service, cleanliness, and food definitely outweigh the appearance. Please give these guys a try. You won't regret it. They are always great, extremely friendly, and have never messed up our order.

Cheap but the food is great!

My husband and I eat here all the time! Friendly and polite staff and a good variety of food. The food is constantly coming out to fill any empty slots. MSG free which is great for my husband who has a msg allergy and it's always good food.

I have eaten here for years, almost a decade. I suggest their walnut shrimp and steamed dumplings with some o that sweet ginger sauce to top em off. Fantastic restaurant in this area

Food was very good. Peanut Chicken was crunchy and very flavorful. Service was lacking however. Had to flag a waitress down for a refill on my water. When she came to refill it she poured from a pitcher of warm water with no ice.

Friendly staff, good selection and excellent prices. Waitress seemed to want me to leave as soon as possible though.

Tried it for the first time tonight after Google recommended it. Fed four people for less than thirty dollars, including drinks. The food was fantastic, and the service above par. Will definitely be back.

My favorite oriental buffet to date here in Missouri! They have a great selection of dishes to overload your plate with and an equally large desert table with treats from icecream to fruit slices and everything in between! I've eaten here with my family around 4 times now and it has never disapointed!

Your typical Chinese buffet, though they are a little conservative with the sauce that they put in their chicken, so much so that almost all of the selections taste the same. For the price the food is okay, the only wow or weird food I could find was the peanut butter chicke, which was surprisingly really good.

Chinese Buffet, not much else to say really. Good dishes on the line, none really stand out. Staff always attentive, drinks kept full, plates removed quickly. Decent food and good prices.

This is my favorite place to eat in Cape. It is so delicious and the staff is super nice. I would eat at Great Wall every day if I could, for every meal. I love cheesy crab casserole and Walnut shrimp the best.

Asked for soda no ice. The girl brought soda with ice, she told me I didn't tell her. When I said yes I did she proceeded to talk about me to her coworker in their language. It was very obvious. Food only warm.

Pretty standard "Chinese food". The service was prompt with soda refills. Price wasn't bad at around $10 for dinner with a soda.
